What I do at Scum
I am the person in charge of helping the staff with their personal funding. I provide an all staff fund development guide to what is required of him/her throughout the year. My responsibilities include: accountability & encouragement to staff while completing fund raising goals, one on one meetings with staff concerning funding, brainstorming creative ideas to boost & maintain funding. My 8 hours a week is spent meeting with staff for training and fund accountability, working on my own fund development, prepping various fund development bits and pieces and attending staff/leadership meetings.
Side Note: It is not my job to do fund-raising for the staff. They are ultimately responsible for their own accounts. It is not my job to make sure the staff do their fund-raising on time, rather I am here to assist and remind them of their goals/commitments.
