Specific Council Responsibilities
Pray with discipline and intention.  Attend meetings pertinent to duties, including council meetings, informational gathering meetings(such as a building inspection), community meetings, etc..  Attend church.  Tithe.  Encourage and care for Mike and Mary.  Encourage and care for staff.  Encourage and care for progerien.  Attend scum social events.  Learn people’s names in the congregation and listen to what they care about.  Mentor at least one person.

Why I Follow Christ
Christ invited Himself into my heart and I said yes.  He changed the fabric of my being and I am compelled to do His bidding.  I can take no credit for even why I follow Him.  I can only take credit for failure and not following Him perfectly.  Why do I follow Christ?  I have no other choice.

How I Came to Scum
My boys invited me and Jim and we came.

My Hopes for Scum
With this new building I hope that we can truly serve our neighbor and the surrounding community.  I hope that the morning service takes off.  I hope we can keep our scummy edge at the night service and continue to serve the homeless and hungry.  I hope we can continue to be culturally pushy and to attract young people looking to rebel.  I hope the art gallery continues its’ growing impact into the art scene.

Favorite Activities
Hanging out with my family.  Anything Scum including meetings, mentoring and social activities.  Riding and training my horse.  My wine tasting group.  Carpentering, sculpting, sewing.

Anything that goes with wine.

Being involved with scum is one of the greatest privileges of my life and I am so grateful to god for placing me here and trusting me to serve.
