Specific Council Responsibilities
General irritater and loud person–truthfully if I know of a concern or problem or really good idea I will make sure that it is heard at council…It might not go anywhere but I’ll make sure it’s heard.

Why I Follow Christ
In the beginning it was for the community.   Now I haven’t found anything else that is any better.  God has proven his faithfulness time after time and they have always been there for me even when I was running in the opposite direction.

How I came to Scum
I heard about Scum at a FutureGen conference.  I met the people and really liked what I heard.  After I came back from a medical mission in Iraq, nothing was clicking for me in Ohio.  I starting praying and said:, “God, I’ll do anything you want me to do but you have to sell my house in three days.”  After looking at possibilities in Chicago, over-seas and Denver I picked Denver and God sold my house in three days.  It’s been hard coming herer and leaving all my people in Ohio but I don’t regret my decision.

My Hopes for Scum
I would like to see Scum become a strong community of believers that make major impact in the lives of the people around them.  A place where people can get involved with different organizations and feel a part of a community.  Community is what got me hooked on Christ and in this world today I see it as something that would set us apart from the rest.

Favorite Activities
Walking my dogs, hiking, gardening, biking, swimming, hanging out with people, reading and eating.

Favorite Foods
Anything that doesn’t move on it’s own off the plate.  I love trying new foods.

Anything Else You Want to Share
I’m a closet trekky…been one since the age of 4.   That makes it 42 years…
